Water Equipment Regulations
- The water equipment rental is open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM /equipment must be returned by 20:00/.
- The rented equipment is the property of Marinasurf and Activegames.
- Equipment rental is based on a signed agreement, which includes personal data: first and last name, PESEL (Polish ID number), ID document number, phone number, email.
- The renter is obliged to familiarize themselves with the content of these regulations and to strictly adhere to its provisions.
- Floating equipment can be rented by individuals who are at least 18 years old, can swim, and are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- The minimum number of people on a catamaran is 1 adult, while the maximum is 4 people, with a total maximum weight of 250kg.
- Children over 2 years old may be on the catamaran. Children must be under adult supervision and wear life jackets.
- Animals are not allowed on board the catamaran.
- The rental company reserves the right to refuse equipment rental without providing a reason.
- Equipment can be rented by a person who presents an undamaged photo ID and, at the request of the rental company, pays a deposit set by the rental company. This deposit is refundable at the Customer’s request if the rental fee is paid and the equipment is returned in an undamaged condition. In case of loss or damage/destruction of the equipment, the return of the deposit depends on the Customer settling the value of the equipment or paying an amount corresponding to the extent of the damage. The rental company may deduct the value of the damage caused by the Renter from the deposit.
- The Customer, when receiving the equipment, should check its technical condition and completeness of equipment, especially life-saving devices.
- The Customer, by signing the rental document, confirms that they have received the equipment free of defects, in accordance with the specification and in good technical condition.
- The fee for equipment rental is collected in advance for the declared time of use. Any exceeding of the declared rental time authorizes the rental employee to charge the renter an additional fee according to the rental price list. Please report any extension of the rental time by calling 539-994-001 or 539-994-004.
- The rental employee may refuse to extend the rental time if it conflicts with the next equipment reservation.
- The renter agrees to: a) use the rented equipment and its accessories according to their intended purpose, b) maintain order and cleanliness on board the catamaran, c) not make any repairs to the equipment, d) return the rented equipment at the declared time, e) return the rented equipment in good technical condition, not worse than when received, along with its equipment and accessories, f) cover any repair costs of equipment, its accessories or rigging damaged due to their own fault, g) not lend the rented equipment to third parties, h) wear life jackets/safety vests while on board.
- Renters of floating equipment are prohibited from: a) bathing while sailing (including jumping from the equipment into the water), b) lending the rented floating equipment to third parties, c) taking on board the rented floating unit more passengers than technically allowed (buoyancy) for the given equipment, d) behavior that endangers their own safety, that of passengers and third parties, e) consuming alcohol or taking any intoxicating substances while in possession of the rented floating equipment, f) using the floating equipment contrary to its intended purpose, g) fishing.
- The renter of floating equipment is obliged to: a) comply with the regulations in force during tourist and sports sailing, b) follow the instructions of rental staff and service personnel, c) in case of damage to the rented unit to a degree that threatens the safety of oneself and passengers, immediately leave it in a safe manner and notify the rental staff of the incident, tel. 539-994-001 or 539-994-004
- Before renting a catamaran, a refundable deposit of 500 PLN must be paid (if the rental company requires it).
- The rental company bears no responsibility for accidents and damages, both to the renter and third parties, arising during the use of the equipment by the renter. The customer waives all claims against the Rental Company for accidents, damages or injuries incurred while using the rented equipment.
- In case of loss of the rented equipment or its accessories due to theft or misplacement, the renter is obliged to reimburse the equivalent costs corresponding to the value of the equipment, its accessories or rigging, according to the current price list + rental time fee.
- In case of returning damaged or incomplete equipment, the Customer agrees to pay the amount determined below by the rental company no later than at the time of equipment return.
- Total value of the catamaran – 43,000.00 PLN net,
- solar canopy – 15,000.00 PLN,
- electric motor – 15,000.00 PLN,
- reclining folding seat – 2,000.00 PLN,
- joystick – remote control with potentiometer – 2,000.00 PLN,
- fender buoy (6 pcs in total) – 500.00 PLN / 1 piece,
- floor material – whole 5,000.00 PLN,
- floor material – one part 2,000.00 PLN,
- railing with upholstery (2 pcs in total) – 1,000.00 PLN / 1 piece,
- In case of returning dirty equipment, the Customer agrees to pay a cleaning fee of 50.00 PLN.
- If after 3 hours from the declared return time the Renter does not return the equipment or notify about the expected return time, it will be treated as theft and reported to the police.
- After returning the equipment in proper condition, the Renter receives a receipt confirming its return.
- Every customer is informed about the weather forecast and conditions on the water body before sailing. Due to bad weather conditions, reservations and ongoing catamaran trips may be cancelled.
- It is forbidden to approach other shores of the water body closer than 20m from the shoreline.
- It is forbidden to approach other piers on the water body other than MARINASURF.
- Other issues not covered in these regulations are governed by relevant acts of Polish law, in particular the Act of April 23, 1964, Civil Code (Journal of Laws 1971 No. 27, item 252, as amended).
